Arteta  Says ‘Everything Has Been Resolved’ With Aubameyang After Fallout

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has said that “everything has been resolved” with club captain and forward Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
The Gabon international was dropped to the bench for disciplinary reasons before Arsenal’s 2-1 English Premier League victory over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, but Arteta said the issue has since been resolved “in a really positive way.”
“No, everybody has to, obviously, perform at the highest level to earn his place on the team and there is no exception there, and we will try to put (out) a really competitive team tomorrow (on Thursday against Olympiacos) to try to win again,” he said.
He added: “That was dealt with on the day. It has been resolved in a really positive way and we move on.”
Arteta also said another of the club’s forwards, Gabriel Martinelli, and his attitude “cannot be any better” and revealed “it is my fault” that the Brazilian has not featured more for ‘The Gunners’ this season.
Arsenal holds a healthy 3-1 first-leg lead over Greek side Olympiacos ahead of their UEFA Europa League round of 16-second leg tie at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday, as they bid to seal their quarter-final place.
