Anambra APC Guber Primaries: Chukwuma Tells Delegates to Vote Candidate Who Can Match Soludo

Anambra Governorship aspirant Paul Chukwuma says the APC needs a strong contender to challenge Soludo in the November governorship election.

An Anambra governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the party’s primary election on Saturday, Sir Paul Chukwuma has called on delegates of the party to vote for the best aspirant who can not only represent the party, but win the governorship election in November.

Chukwuma in an open letter he wrote to delegates of the party said only the best will be able to rival the governor of the state, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo in the main election on November 8.

In the letter which was made available to journalists, Chukwuma called on the delegates to remember that he has stood for the party when it was less recognised, insisting that he remains the best among the seven aspirants gunning for the ticket of the party.

He said: “This election is not just a selection of a candidate but a pivotal moment that will define the direction Anambra will take in the years to come.

“I present myself as the candidate best equipped to steer the APC to success. I urge delegates to look past transient promises and distractions.

“I have stood with this party from the beginning—not because of what it offers me, but because of what I know it can offer the people of Anambra.

“I have earned the trust and respect of our grassroots. With this broad support base, I am confident our party will march into the November elections united, energised, and poised for victory,” Chukwuma asserts.

The aspirant said he has served the party with dedication as a former Zonal Youth Leader and National Auditor, and that these positions have allowed him to contribute significantly to the party’s development in the state.

“On April 5, 2025, vote for a candidate who embodies the strength, vision, and commitment needed to propel APC to a resounding victory. To defeat a sitting governor of Soludo’s stature, the APC needs a candidate who matches Soludo’s intellect, but surpasses him in vision and strategic thinking. I am that candidate,” he said.
