Amaechi Blames Nigerians For Electing Bad Leaders In The Wake Of Supreme Court Judgment – With Ojy Okpe

The Governor of lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, joined models to strut on the runway for designer Emmy Kasbit during the lagos fashion week over the weekend blowing kisses from the stage to close the show as the audience cheered him on.

In a post on his social media, the governor reiterated his government’s commitment to supporting the creative industry, which he said has the power to transform the city and the economy.

In the wake of the Supreme Court Judgment affirming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s President, the immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, in a trending video blamed the docility of Nigerians for the inability of the country to get the right form of leadership.

Amaechi was speaking at a Lecture themed Why We Stride and Slip: Leadership, Nationalism, and the Nigerian Condition held on Thursday October 26th. Acccording to him, Nigerians know that most politicians are not honest but they still go ahead to vote for them during elections.

The Former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, last week was handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission by the Department of State Security thus, ending the involvement of Nigeria’s secret police in his case.

Emefiele had been in the custody of the DSS since June after President Bola Tinubu suspended him from office for alleged infractions.

Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa, who was released last week by the Department of State Services received heroic welcome in his home town of Jega, Kebbi State.
