Allen Onyema: Airpeace Special Offer To London Will Encourage Students to Return to Nigeria

In the past, I said it was either London Heathrow or nothing. The BASA agreement we signed with the UK is clear that each party will be given access to primary airports.

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic come into Nigeria’s primary airports, Lagos and Abuja.

But when we applied, they offered to give us Luton or Stansted which I found very insulting and frustrating, but with Gatwick, looking at the traffic situation from Heathrow and the exorbitant airfares Nigerians are paying, Gatwick has turned out to be better for us.
