Alex De Minaur Pulls Out Of Wimbledon Quarterfinal, Djokovic Advances To Semi-Finals

Australian tennis player, Alex De Minaur, has decided to withdraw from the 2024 Wimbledon tournament just before his quarterfinal clash with seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic of Serbia.

De Minaur sustained an injury during his fourth-round match against French player Arthur Fils, specifically on match point.

As a result of De Minaur’s withdrawal, Djokovic automatically progresses to the semifinals, where he will face the winner of the match between American Taylor Fritz and Italian Lorenzo Musetti.
