Carlo Ancelotti became the first coach to win the UEFA Super Cup four times, after leading Real Madrid to beat Eintracht Frankfurt in Wednesday’s tie in Helsinki, Finland.
Goals in each half from David Alaba and Karim Benzema secured Madrid’s fifth UEFA Super Cup title.
Ancelotti first won the Super Cup in 2003 with AC Milan and repeated the feat with the Rossoneri in 2007.
In 2014 he claimed a third title with Real Madrid before repeating the achievement against Frankfurt.
Recall, Ancelotti became the first manager to win a league title in each of Europe’s top five divisions after guiding Madrid to Laliga title last season.
Also last season, he became the first manager to win four Champions League titles following Madrid’s 1-0 win against Liverpool in Paris.
