President of the African Development Bank, Akinwunmi Adesina, says the bank is supporting investment in infrastructure to facilitate business operations on the African continent.
Adesina spoke in Lagos while on a tour of the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical company and the Dangote Fertiliser plant at the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos. He said governments across the continent need to encourage businesses like the Dangote Group whose investment in the refinery and fertilizer plant is capable of making Nigeria and Africa compete both regionally and at the global level.
