The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and the Port Harcourt International Airport have been recognised by the Airport Council International (ACI Africa) for their excellence in Airport Emergency Management and Resilience.
This was revealed Friday in a statement by Tunde Moshood, the Special Adviser for Media and Communications to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
The awards were presented during a gala night at the 33rd Annual General Assembly of ACI Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Secretary-General of ACI Africa, Ali Tounsi, and President, Emmanuel Chaves, handed over the plaques, celebrating the airports’ exceptional commitment to safety and operational resilience.
According to Moshood, the recognition highlights the dedicated efforts of Keyamo and the teams working with him to maintain high standards of security and efficiency in Nigeria’s aviation sector.
