Nigerian star Wizkid has released the stunning visuals for his feel-good song, ‘Smile.’ The video, directed by Meji Alabi, features American RnB star, H.E.R, as well as appearances from his sons Zion, Ayo and Bolu.
With uplifting lyrics, a laid-back Reggae beat and H.E.R’s soothing vocals, ‘Smile’ and its accompanying video are perfect for summer. The four-and-a-half-minute clip features colorful aesthetics and encourages joy and unity in a year that hasn’t always been rosy.
The song follows Wizkid’s latest release, Soundman Vol. 1 EP, which came out late last year. It’s also his first solo work since his collaboration with Beyoncé and SAINt JHN in the song, ‘Brown Skin Girl.
Wizkid’s next album, called Made In Lagos, is set for release on October 15, and will feature heavyweights such as Burna Boy, Damian Marley, Ella Mai and Skepta.
